THAY Medical achieves another year of ISO 13485 compliance
Each year, THAY Medical is required to demonstrate that we work in accordance with our internal processes and continue to improve as a business. This past year has been no exception. Despite a period of change within the company, we have continued to evolve and now look ahead to 2026 with a renewed focus, supported by our ISO 13485 certified Quality Management System.
Our recent annual audit produced very positive results, once again confirming the strength of our quality processes. Special thanks go to our Human Factors Quality Manager, Mark Batterbury, for his work in maintaining compliance throughout a year of transition. Maintaining focus on SOPs and work instructions alongside client work is not always easy, but this balance is essential to the way we operate.
With this foundation in place, we are well positioned to build on our plans for 2026, with further updates to follow. Having the right processes in place allows us to remain focused on what is required, while continually identifying opportunities for improvement. A Quality Management System should support the business and help it operate more effectively.
As a Human Factors Engineering consultancy, THAY Medical works closely with clients to ensure alignment between our consultancy services and their own Quality Management Systems. This collaboration is an important part of delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes in regulated environments.
As we reflect on another successful audit, attention now turns to the next surveillance audit in 2027. Maintaining compliance is an ongoing process, but one that enables us to continue growing with confidence. Our processes are well established, with over ten years of ISO 13485 compliance, and are designed to meet both regulatory expectations and our clients’ internal requirements. Where risks are identified, the focus remains on minimising and controlling them as effectively as possible.
Operating within regulated sectors such as healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, software, research and development, and pharmaceuticals requires a strong commitment to compliance. This commitment allows us to deliver services consistently, reliably, and to a high standard.
