Hello, my name is Frida Markemyr and I am the new Sales And Marketing Assistant here at THAY Medical. I will be responsible for handling tasks such as all of our social media, our websites and the more frequent news- and blog posts on this page.
I am originally from Sweden but have loved the UK ever since my first visit for a language course in Oxford. Years later I then moved over here.
I have previously studied marketing and economics as well as ran a business as part of a course in entrepreneurship. I also have a few years experience of customer relations which I believe will be beneficial in my role here at THAY Medical, especially with our team in Stockholm and me bringing in a bit of Swedish culture even in our UK office.
As part of my marketing responsibilities, I will be in charge of all the company’s marketing activities. We will be attending several events in the near future including Med-Tech Innovation Expo in September (Birmingham) as well as FarmaForum in November (Spain). My role at events like this will be to make sure everything runs smoothly and that we are represented in the best way possible.
I will also assist Managing Director Greg Thay and Senior Human Factors Engineer Vaidotas Nenorta with the sales in the company which will be an exciting and educational experience in this period of exponential growth for the company.
I am very much looking forward to working as part of the close and friendly team here, as well as enhancing my knowledge within the fields of sales and marketing with help from the great team at THAY Medical.
