Clinical Nurse Trainer (UK)
Due to the growth of our organisation, based near Bournemouth, Dorset and Stockholm, Sweden, we are currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Trainer to work in our Human Factors consultancy in Dorset, UK.
You will have a a Nursing degree or equivalent clinical qualification and have worked recently in a hospital, clinic, surgery or in the community interacting with patients and other clinicians. You will have good social skills and the ability to train patients and clinicians on processes, devices and hospital procedures. A primary part of the role is to perform internal training on clinical practices that the devices we interact with require – to train the internal team on the clinical needs of human factors engineering.
The key skills required are to be a competent and confident individual, who adapts easily to situations and to people. A key attribute is that you can assist in recruiting participants for human factors studies, tests and research which we do internally. Organisation, leadership and professionalism are key to this role since THAY Medical only want the best individuals in this role. In addition, we seek individuals with a “can do” attitude, who are not afraid to travel, not afraid to work effectively and who can work well in a small team under the leadership of our Human Factors Engineering team.
Travel internationally will be required intermittently, and the ability to drive and travel within the UK will be required. A benefit of being a Clinical Nurse Trainer is that you will travel with the job and you will not be stuck in a desk all year around. Therefore, an international passport is required and European citizenship essential. In addition, capability to speak/write in multiple languages will be useful and a benefit to the organisation.
The salary for this role will dependent upon experience and suitability from €25-50k. In addition, benefits will include pension, holidays and expenses. You will have a good understanding of human factors, usability, ergonomics, industrial design, software or psychology. Degree qualification is mandatory, but not just in the above areas – other subjects may also be suitable i.e. engineering, design, physiology, bio-medicine etc.
The key skills required are to be a competent and confident individual, who adapts easily to situations and to people. A key attribute is that you can interview people, perform human factors or usability engineering and lead projects. Organisation, leadership and professionalism are key to this role since THAY Medical only want the best individuals in this role. In addition, we seek individuals with a “can do” attitude, who are not afraid to travel, not afraid to work remotely and who can work well in a small team under the leadership of our management.
