Our offices

THAY Medical are located in two offices.

THAY Medical can be found in Dorset, England. We are based in the beautiful countryside, where we continue to be inspired by the 360 degree views surrounding the office. It is from our offices that we continue to inspire and lead medical and pharmaceutical organisations to create usable products.

Our headquarters are used to house our team of human factors engineers, management, human resources and finance staff. We are a dedicated and hardworking friendly team. At our Quality Control facility our staff are able to perform quality assurance, research and development and production activities.

About us

THAY Medical are a specialist organisation who assists medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies to develop medical products. We focus on the interaction between the user and the device – the human factors of the medical product. Where a Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) will focus on the clinical aspect of a medical device, THAY Medical are an organisation who focus on the human factors (HF) aspect of a medical device. We believe that good user interaction reduces the occurrence of clinical errors in real life. As such, we think there is a benefit in applying the best human factors and usability engineering practices into device developments and post market surveillance. A reduction in clinical error is always a good thing.

What we do

THAY Medical comprise of a team of passionate people who practice applying human factors and usability into medical devices. We perform services focused around human factors and usability engineering. This includes complying with regulations globally that are industry standard for medical devices – such as IEC 62366-1 and ISO 14971. In addition, we also work to the US based FDA requirements and European CE regulations. All services are performed to our own ISO 13485 certified quality management system.

Our core services include usability engineering, human factors testing, medical device design and others listed on our services page. We operate to the highest industry standards globally, with a focus on always exceeding regulations and customer expectations. We offer a tailored solution to your needs that will always be compliant, effective and value for money.

Our certifications

To ensure THAY Medical are performing at the top level, we ensure our services are completed to the requirements of a rigorous, yet efficient quality management system. We are ISO 13485 certified and continue to gain additional accredited ISO’s.
